Our Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Ebonie Unlimited Limited is a Company registered in the UK, our registered office address is: Regina House 124 Finchley Road London NW3 5JS, United Kingdom. [Do not send anything to this address as it is a registered address only.]  The law of England and Wales apply to these terms. If applicable, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to these terms and any entered contract.

‘I’, ‘me’, 'we' or ‘my’ means ‘Ebonie Unlimited Ltd’ trading as Ebonie Allard, Ebonie Alchemy or Kismet Co; and ‘You’ or ‘your’ means the person buying or using my services, products and resources.

Kismet Co. products sold via Shopify include Art Prints, Art Books, Kismet Code Cards and other limited edition products.

Expectations: We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear on the site. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. If you have any questions, please contact us before you purchase, as not liking the product does not qualify you for a refund.

All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

Jurisdiction: We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. 

Pricing: The price listed includes taxes where appropriate. (This may be added on when your item goes into the cart and you tell it which country you are in.) Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All attempts to include accurate tax information have been made, but your country may add on import fees and that is out of our control.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any product without notice at any time. Most of our products are only available exclusively online through the website. These products may have limited quantities therefore we may not be able to offer you an exchange and we refund only according to our Return Policy.

You can pay via our cart system which allows for most credit and debit cards and Paypal payments. If you have contacted us for a special order, you might be offered an alternative way to pay.

Return Policy: If there is an issue with your order when it arrives, please contact us within 2 days of receiving your order. We will endeavour to find a solution. We are not responsible for return shipping costs. We will only replace where the item is faulty.

Postage: We are not responsible for any items which are lost in the post. Our standard shipping option does not include tracking information. Where shipping information is available we will include it. If you would like to upgrade your shipping to include more robust tracking, please do so at checkout, or contact us to arrange this. Your items will be shipped within 7 days of receiving your purchase, except where something is a pre-order. In which case I will ship once we are in possession of the item(s). Where items will take longer than usual to ship, you will be notified.

Where items are being made or shipped by a third party, we will always tell you this. We are not responsible for any third party. (All Art prints or custom print products are printed and shipped by a third party.)

A note on postage costs: The real cost of postage is often much higher than listed, we do not add in the packing materials or labour included in putting your order together. Ebonie Unlimited subsidises as much of the true cost as possible and passes on the actual cost of postage.

Shipping: Shipping is from the UK and at times this might mean that we are only able to ship to the UK. We will always endeavour to make an international order possible - please contact us about a custom order.  

For custom and international orders: All items will be sent together when the whole order, including pre ordered items, is ready. Unfortunately as a small business we are unable to offer exchanges on custom or International orders.

A note on buying from a small business: Every order is personal to us. We are a very small company, and we mostly know our customers. You are always welcome to reach out on social media, or on whatsapp. Intimacy, connection, transparency matter to us. Every order matters. Thank you for choosing to spend your money with us, and thank you for choosing craftsmanship, slow production, and art designed, made, packed, and posted by real people.
